Mackenzie and I have both been super busy lately, so we planned a girls’ day out and each used one of our precious paid days off to catch up! There’s so much going on in her life (her recent decision to start online dating, a promotion at work, and helping plan her sister’s wedding!) and I feel like our friendship has taken the backseat. Waah.

First we got super cute pedicures at this little hidden spa that I’m pretty sure only like five other people know about. It’s heavenly, never busy, and super cheap for NYC. Sold!

After our pedicures, we each got a glass of hard cider and did some serious shopping! She has a hot date in a couple days so we went into stores and had her try on a bunch of ridiculous dresses and one very unflattering jumpsuit. It was like a movie montage moment. All we needed was Girls Just Want to Have Fun blasting as we ran in and out of dressing rooms!

Super glad I got to catch up with my bestie! Hopefully we won’t go so long without hanging out again!
