So I was almost brought to (happy) tears today when I got home from work and saw that flowers had been delivered to my apartment from my dad! Even though we all live in the city and see each other pretty regularly, sometimes I really miss my family. I’m on my own, and I get a little lonely sometimes, especially since Jeremy travels a lot for work.

My dad has always been one of my best friends and since I was a little girl he has introduced me to things that I end up loving (like murder mystery stories and baseball and roller coasters!) and he has always taken an interest in me and the things I love that he probably doesn’t love so much… like back when I was in high school he was the only person in my family who would watch reality TV shows with me. So sweet!

I love my family and I’m so lucky to have one that is so supportive and loving!
